HwC INTERVIEWS
HwC Interview with REvolution:
Interviewed by: Jonathan Coachman
Coach: I'm here tonight with HwC's rising tag team, REvolution. Batista, I’d like to
ask you a few questions first.
Who do you look up to as an athelete?
Batista: I usually look up to Randy Orton. I mean, look at him. He’s the Legend Killer.
He’s a superb athlete. The muscle, the power, the intellect; Orton’s got it all. To me, Orton is the only person
I could possibly think of to partner up with.
Coach: What wrestler would you like to be in a match with the most?
Batista: Actually, I think that Brock Lesnar would be a great opponent for me. He seems like
the only real challenge in the HwC right now. He’s got muscle, and he’s got power, so I feel that he would be
a great match-up for me.
Coach: What do you think about Ric Flair?
Batista: When I think of Ric Flair, I
think “legend.” But when I think of legends, I think of the Legend Killer. I do respect Ric for the accomplishments
he’s done with his career, but his career doesn’t have much longer to go. After this Monday, Randy Orton’s
gonna take Flair out of this company forever.
Coach: What about D-Generation X?
Batista: D-Generation X…huh. It’s funny you should mention those chumps. They’re
nothing but a bunch of worthless losers. They may have been great wrestlers at one time…but they’ve both past
their prime. They’re washed up has-beens, is what they are.
Coach: How did you feel when Jeff Jarrett
won the Hardcore Championship?
Batista: Let me give you some good advice, coach. Don’t EVER bring that name up in front
of me again! That win was a fluke! Jarrett doesn’t have a thing on me. He was lucky that night, and it WILL NOT happen
again!
Coach: What are your views on Raven's
Flock?
Batista: Ravens Flock...Hmmm, Those guys seem to have some talent, but not enough to beat
REvolution.
Coach: Which member of the HwC Staff
do you respect the most?
Batista: Well, I think that Russo’s done a pretty good job running this federation.
I also think that Eric Bischoff is a great staff member. He listens to the guys in the back. He’d probably give me and
Orton any match we’d want.
Coach: What championship are you hoping
to win first?
Batista: Orton and I are planning on winning the Tag Team Championships as soon as possible.
As for Singles championships, however, I WILL win the Hardcore Championship. That is my first objective here in HwC, is to
be known as the King of the Deathmatch.
Coach: Ok, thank you for your time
Batista. Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to ask a few questions for Randy Orton.
Randy, who is your favorite wrestler
of all time?
Randy Orton: Well, besides my father
Bob Orton, I would have to say Ric Flair. I may not like him as a person, but I respect his career.
Coach: And what do you think of Ric Flair?
Randy Orton: Like I said before, I respect the hell out of his career. I just don't like him as
a person.
Coach: Why did you attack him in his match against Triple H?
Randy Orton: I attacked him because he was
to self-centered. Ric Flair came into the HwC to manage us, and then decides to pick a fight with Triple H? What’s up
with that? If being our manager wasn’t good enough for him, then I figure he shouldn’t be our manager at all.
Coach: What do you think of Triple H?
Randy Orton: Triple H disgusts me! I have nothing to say about a self-centered, egotistical, jackass like him
except for one thing. Triple H, you better stay out of my way…or you’ll find yourself at the end of an RKO.
Coach: What about D-Generation X as a whole?
Randy Orton: Well, it’s just as Batista said earlier. These men are nothing but a bunch of washed up,
worthless, has-been losers. That about sums it up. I don’t mind delivering two RKOs.
Coach: What do you think of your partner, Batista?
Randy Orton: Batista…The Big Man…I think that he is a great asset to Revolution. Look at him. He’s
a monster. Look at the destruction he can do. Wouldn’t you want him on your side.
Coach: Do you think Batista has what it takes to become the Hardcore Champion?
Randy Orton: What kind of question is that? Of course I think Batista has what it takes. Compare him to our
current HwC Hardcore Champion. Who do you think would win in a no holds barred, no disqualification, one on one match? Hands
down I bet you would say it would be Batista. Of course you would. Everyone would. He’s a living, breathing, destructing
machine. And don’t even start about the Fatal Four Way Match that Batista lost. It wasn’t even his fault. Batista
wasn’t all there. It was a fluke. Batista’s wife was mugged at the arena that night. She was rushed to the hospital.
Batista was worried. Who wouldn’t be. You can’t expect Batista to wrestle 100% when his wife was in critical condition!
And Batista will right this travesty the next chance he gets.
Coach: Do you think you’ll win the World Heavyweight Championship in the Royal Rumble
match?
Randy Orton: OK, here’s how it’s gonna be. At the first ever HwC Pay Per View, Royal Rumble, I’m
entered into the Main Event for the world championship. I’m going to enter in the Royal Rumble, go through all of the
other superstars, and walk out the World Heavyweight Champion! Plus, with the massive monster Batista on my side, there’s
no way I could lose.
Coach: Well what about Batista? You know he is entered into the Royal Rumble match as well.
Randy Orton: Well, Coach, that’s just the thing. You can’t possibly thing I’m that foolish,
can you. I’ve already thought this through. Me and Batista are like brothers, coach. We would take a bullet for one
another. So, when It comes down to Batista and I…which it most certainly will…Batista will throw the match. He
knows that having myself as the World Champion will be better for REvolution.
Coach: And Batista, is this true?
Batista: Well…yes coach, it is. You see, as Randy said, I know it’s better to have a man like
himself with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. I’m not concerned about the world title. I know if
I wanted it, I could have it…but I don’t want it. I’m more focused on the Hardcore Championship, and the
Tag Team Championships.
Coach: Why is it that you don’t care about the World Title?
Batista: Listen, I don’t have to answer any more of your dim-witted questions. [Batista and Orton
storm out of the room]
Coach: Well…I guess that’s the end of this interview with REvolution. Ladies and
gentlemen I’d like to thank you for your time…I’ll see you again next time.
