Match 2: Stone Cold and Kurt Angle vs. Goldust and Sting

SUMMARY:

This was a brutal match. As hardcore as one can get without using illegal weapons. Heads were smashed into turnposts outside of the ring, throats were choked on the ropes, torsos were thrown into the ring barricade, and bodies flew off of the top turnbuckle and onto another. Much blood was shed by both men, and the crowd couldn't get enough of the two fierce modern-day gladiators. The crowd didn't want this one to end, but it did when Road Dogg reversed a superplex attempt by Raven and threw him onto the mat. Road Dogg then hit a Houston Hangover from the top and a pin to pick up the victory.

SUMMARY:

This was a slow-starting match with little action and more talk at the beginning, but it did not fail to deliver action. Sting ticked off Stone Cold a bit into the match at the beginning with his relentless taunting. Stone Cold let loose on Goldust, and all hell broke loose. The illegal men charged the ring and demolished everything in sight. The referee, after minutes of anarchy, finally restored order in the ring. However, soon after that, more taunting ensued between Stone Cold and Sting, and Austin eventually turned around and Stunned Sting before he knew what happened. He pinned him and Angle took out Goldust as he charged the ring, allowing for a three count.

SUMMARY:

Cactus Jack and Sandman took Team eXtreme to a point of no return. They pounded and beat and battered Team eXtreme until blood caked their entire faces. Using nothing but their bare hands and the ring itself, they completely demolished Team eXtreme within an inch of their lives. It ended when James Storm passed out during the mandible claw. They then spray painted XoW on each of their chests and left the ring with their XoW Hardcore Tag Team Titles.

SUMMARY:

This match, thought to be a classic battle between two warriors, ended in shear debauchery once  the entire XoW roster interfered. They were soon met by half of the HwC Roster. Scuffles broke out all around the ring and it’s surrounding areas, creating all out mêlée in the HwC Arena. Bodies were laid out everywhere, and neither team survived the battle. Although this particular battle had ended, the war is far from finished.
