Biography:

- Russo was hired by Vince McMahon to be head creative writer, and was the instigator of many great characters and storylines.
- In 1999, Vince Russo was hired as the head of WCW's Creative department. 
- In 1999, Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara joined together in WCW to become "The Powers That Be."

- Later, WCW decided to fire Russo as the head of WCW's creative department.
- In early 2000, Russo, along with Bischoff, accepted creative control positions with WCW. 
- In mid 2000, Vince Russo gave birth to the group known in WCW as "New Blood." He vacated all the titles, and stated that new champions would be determined.
- In 2000, Cince Russo became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He vacated the title during the next week's show.
